The 2007 Mayor's Election

2007

La Grange Missouri

City Election

123 voters screwed everyone else.

With this webpage I want to thank the following.

I want to thank those who voted for me and for the future of La Grange.

On April 17, 2007, the City Election to Elect a Mayor for the City of La Grange was held.

The results of that election was;
Tim Rossiter received 123 votes, Jerry Brandt 83 votes and Ed Cox received 62 votes.

That total vote count shows that over 66 percent of the registered voters did not vote. Did not even care who won.

After each election I get the list of voters, the list shows who voted and who didn't. You would be surprised of the people who consider themselves good members of the community that didn't vote.

Here are the results of that election April 17, 2007

  1. Drive by the foundry and take a look. This is the way the foundry will look for another two years or more.

  2. There will never be any manufacturing companies there. The City will never go after any.

  3. The foundry dump will still be a dump. The new Mayor and others don't have a clue how to change it.

  4. Notice the chain link fence North of the foundry. It will still be there guarding nothing and making the city look like an old abandoned industrial site.

  5. In the middle of town are several vacant lots beside City Hall. Those will be like that for years to come.

  6. The boy scouts will still be in that old dilapidated building. No new building will be built. No financial assistance.

  7. The ball park will stay the same as it is and the Association will get nothing. Rita will make out well.

  8. No horse shoe playing in the park.

  9. The sewer plant will still be built next to casino and blocking the river view.

  10. The water well will be drilled in the same aquifer that the old wells were drawing from. What difference does that make? The water in that area is highly hard water and high manganese. That is why the wells were abandoned.

  11. No one will get Free high speed wireless internet.

  12. There will be no safety monitors for the Senior Citizens and no free early warning radios.

  13. The police department will still use up more than half the income from the casino. 1/2 million a year.

  14. You will still PAY property taxes. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  15. You will stay PAY high water bills with a rate increase coming. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  16. You will stay PAY triple sewer bills.  Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  17. You will still PAY franchise fees. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  18. You will still PAY the primacy fees. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  19. You will still PAY for trash pickup and with rate increases. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  20. No streets will be curbed and paved. Just the same old pretend.

  21. Ordinances will still be passed in one Council meeting before you know it.

  22. More Laws will be passed to make you a criminal.  Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  23. More laws will be passed to cost you more money. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help you.

  24. The old trailers will still be falling down North of the Casino

  25.  The other old trailers around town will still be drawing mice and rats.

  26. You will still be softening your water or filtering your water or buying bottled water.

  27. The City will not go after any new manufacturing companies to create new jobs.

  28. There will never be any help for new home buyers or builders.

  29. There will never be any assistance to anyone starting a new business in town.

  30. There will never be any help for any existing business.

  31. The cops will still radar and stop everyone coming and going. Mayor Rossiter will do nothing to help.

  32. There not be any investments for the future mayors and councils.

  33. Money will still be spent like drunken sailors.

  34. Triangle Refineries property will still be mowed FREE by the city.

  35. The town will continue to die a slow death.

  36. Mayor Rossiter and the Council will pass the INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODES. To cost you money.

By the end of the next two years, half of the businesses in town will be gone. You will see no more changes in the next two years, just as you have in the past 5 years. The Mayor was afraid to say or do anything in the first two years as councilman and was afraid to do or say anything in his two years as Mayor and still is afraid to do or say anything. So, all the Cops are happy they can continue their harassment, the City crew is happy they can go on and not do anything, and the City Administrator and City attorney can continue their charade. Well, that is until Tim moves out of town and quits.

I also want to thank the following.

I want to thank Dan Steinbeck and Canton Press News Journal for allowing Rita FARR, daughter of Robert and Jeanie Farr, to use the Canton Press News Journal to print false and misleading information with the intention to sway the Mayor election to her husband ED COX. Dan, I was a good friend of your father and I know he would never have allowed his paper to be used in as a hatchet paper like you did.

I want to thank Ann Pierceall of the Quincy Herald Whig for printing false and misleading information in her article to defame me. The Oakley family needs to be proud of their reporter Ann Pierceall. She called me the night before about doing the article. I declined to comment because the reporters always changed the story in the end. Ann Pierceall lied and said she was not that kind of person. She wouldn't do such a thing and went ahead and printed false and misleading information. So, when you read any of her articles, they might not be true either.

I want to thank Newly elected Mayor Tim Rossiter as the present councilman with the rest of the La Grange City Council and Mayor Theresa Gunsauls for the first time that the Council has ever divulged any closed session information. The last council meeting was also the first time any bill presented to the Council was read out loud. The lawsuit was about me suing the City of La Grange for the continuous false arrests by the La Grange Police Department. Even the City Council and Tim Rossiter didn't get the amount right and the results right. Probably because of the City Attorney.

I sued the City, not for $1 million, but for $2.3 million dollars for the false arrests, false imprisonment and more. The City Attorney could not beat me, without and attorney, in Court, so he HIRED another law firm costing the City $10,000.00. He was the one who cost the city. All the new law firm did was call and ask me what my problem was and what to do about it. I did not lose the suit, I agreed to dismiss the suit as the La Grange Police Department agreed to stop their harassment.

Did you know that a COP saw me standing in the middle of Front street and falsely arrested me for trespassing on foundry property. Plus, at the same time, the COP falsely arrested me for trespassing on railroad property. The same place at the same time. He saw I was running for Mayor and thought I might win and quit.

Did you know that the big fat COP from Hannibal, Larry Gibson and Don Cibert filed a false criminal complaint with the La Grange Police Department and then a false felony criminal complaint with the County. And, Tim Rossiter along with the rest of the Council and Mayor Theresa Guunsauls PROMOTED the fat one. The so called City Attorney saw nothing wrong with a police officer violating his oath of office, filing false police reports or false criminal complaints. So I sued. What would you do? What will you do when the big fat cop goes after you?

I don't have to worry about Tim Rossiter taking this information and using it to his advantage. First off, he is afraid, afraid he will make someone on the Council mad. Also, once he mentions any of the above, the council will say that he got the information from Jerry Brandt and will not let him get it done. Most of the items are too complicated for anyone in the city to implement. They don't have a clue on how to do it or make it work, So, it is safe to say, none of the above, will be done.

And once Tim sells his house he is leaving town permanently. Another election. All the time he has been in office, he leaves town on Friday and doesn't come back until late Sunday so no one will call him with a complaint. That continues to this day.
