Jarin Rossiter, son of Alex Rossiter, St. Charles, 111., and grandson of Milly Rossiter, is in Hollywood, working as sound effects person for the Arnold Schwartzenegger movie, "Terminator III".

Kait and Gabe Vandermaiden and friend Vanessa Ervin of Quincy, were weekend guests of Kait and Gabe's grandparents, Phil and Judy Garkie.

Bud and Cleta Campbell visited Alice Hoyes on Friday at Maple Lawn in Palmyra.

Jerry and Jenny Reid were Friday to Sunday visitors of Mark and Pam Murphy, Kasson, Minn. They attended the 1st birthday of Logan Murphy at the home of his parents, Jason and Amy Murphy at Dodge Center, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Sturhan were visitors of Gregg and Kathy Childers in St. Louis, Sunday and overnight and returned Monday morning. A cook out was held Sunday evening, honoring Mrs. Travis Childers and daughter. Guests from Florida, and others joining them were Brendon and Vienna Childers, Marinda and Madison, St. Louis. 

Bill and Joann Leeser spent a week visiting their niece, Laurie Lotz in Brunswick, Ga. They also enjoyed spending time on the islands of St. Simons and Jekyll. They attended a Memorial Day service on St. Simons in the evening. It was called Taps at Twi-light.

Les and Elaine Jamison spent Sunday with her sister, Jim and Mary Menke, in Fort Madison. Later, they called on their son David and Minh Jamison, Michelle and Merissa, where they were evening dinner guests. 

Pam Swearingen and Nikki, of Quiney, 111., came to visit her parents, Bob and Loma Swearingen and Matt, June 5 until June 14. Others who visited to see Pam and Nikki, were her aunts, Irene Burke, Ursa, and Sue Robertson arid Angie Robertson, Dessa and Shelby.
