It's be quite awhile since last update.

Well, the election is over. The same ole same ole won. Nothing has changed. When they are sworn in at the next council meeting, you won't notice a thing. Only the names have changed, the screwing of the people of the town will continue on as usual.

If you got your water bill this month, you will notice that the Mayor has stopped the updates on the back. Also, this is the last CHEAP water bill you will get. From now on the people of La Grange will begin their payments on the $26,000.00 each home will pay for the new sewer plant for the casino. From now on you will see a triple amount to pay and pay and pay.

Even though Mayor Theresa Gunsauls and the Council PROMISED, to get you to vote for the bond issue, PROMISED, the new rates would not start UNTIL the new sewer plant was in operation. As the Mayor says, screw the little people, make 'em pay.

Say a Prayer for Norma Tasco. Say a Prayer for MT - Maurice Tonnies.

Now, Rumor has it that a new millionaire is in the area. Rumor has it a lot of land was sold South of town. Rumor has it the new millionaire will build a boat dock on the new lake and rent boats and sell fishing worms.

You still have until Tuesday in some States to file your taxes, here it is Monday. The La Grange Community Youth Center held its annual baked food sale and was done by 10am.

If you haven't gotten a copy of the City Newsletter, the reason is that the COPS have decided that they are not errand boys. But, no worry, I will decipher it for you and let you know what is in it.

Mayor Theresa wants you to know how proud she is by tripling your sewer rates before the new sewer plant is even started. Even though she lied and said the new rates wouldn't start until the plant was built and running.

Oh, Mayor Theresa wants to know that you can get shafted again by being FORCED to buy an extra meter if you want to water your garden or lawn and that water not be subjected to the triple increase. Aren't we so lucky??

Remember that old song?  screw me once, screw me twice, screw me again and again.

On the Administrators page, he has deemed that a new larger water line will "increase" water pressure. So far, no one has been able to figure out how that can happen, but.. He also wanted everyone to know that the USDA issued an award to the City for going along and screwing over the people by having the people pay for a new sewer plant for the Casino. He plans to hang this award for all to see.

It looks like in the budget meetings, every city employee will get a raise this year. They all sorely deserve it. Especially the one guy who rides around all day looking busy.

By looking at the minutes of the meetings, it looks like Ed Ensor is working his tail off to get the best buy for dirt for the new sewer plant. HMMM. I still remember all those good deals he got for another civic project.

The Council voted to make it mandatory that all NEWLY hired employees undergo a background check. It first said ALL employees, so I guess we can safely assume that some employee has a problem.

The employees now have to sign an EMPLOYEE CONFIDENTIAL SHEET. I wonder if this to stop any leaks to someone??

Ed Ensor is working on a grant. Last time the fire chief secured a grant. Let's see now, we have had a City Administrator since the boat opened. That comes to about $250.000.00. And not one substantial grant has been secured by the employee who was supposed to be the greatest grant writer ever. A lot of wasted money.

The LAPD report says there were only 121 traffic stops. that can't be right, 114 does that many in one night.

116 business assists??  HUH? What business?

86 residential assists?? HUH?? That is almost one for every household.

6 arrests?? HUH?? 114 makes that many in an hour.

LARGE ITEM PICKUP APRIL 22nd

April 14th, 2006

The Lions Club had there fish fry tonight. They have about 4 a year on every other Friday. Tonight, like every night or time that any community organization has a fund raising event, the Mayor sees to it that the LAPD is out in force with more cops than Quincy and they make sure that they stop as many of the people who come to donate to the organization fund raising.

Another subject. When I was Mayor in 1980, the City had an engineering firm do a study on he City water lines. This engineering firm was more concerned about the quality of the water going to people homes. The Water Commissioner took each block and figured up the average water usage per month and when the water line was replaced or new water line installed, the people were assured of getting FRESH water all the time.

Now, the new engineers and DNR has decided that FRESH water is out the window. They are now replacing water lines with the largest lines they can install. Once the new larger lines installed, it will take 100 times more water usage than before to get Fresh water. You won't notice at first, but as time goes on, the taste of your water will not be the same as before.

Who are you going to vote for? Every candidate has already stabbed you in the back when they were/are in office before? But. I still recommend Harold Ludwig and Tim Rossiter.

Only because of all the emails asking me why no news or update is there one today. The City officials and police department have been playing it close to the vest about city business. They never want you YOU to know what they are going to do to you next.

For instance, Mayor Theresa and her council has screwed you over once again by passing more laws to make you have a greater chance of being made a criminal.

Mayor Theresa and her council has an ad for another police officer to add to the mounting expenses to the city. The budget also calls for MORE NEW Police cars. Rumor has it the seats are all caving in.

For YEARS, EX-Mayor Harold Ludwig, EX-MAYOR Tim Rossiter, Mayor Theresa, and all the councilmen, especially Lannie Henze, Steve Griesbaum, Ron Powers, and others have been lying over and over again that the Missouri Gaming Commission has been FORCING them to hire all the COPS.

Well, I got a COURT DOCUMENT filed by the Missouri Attorney General's Office in my hand that states, "THE MISSOURI GAMING COMMISSION duty IS NOT responsible for the providing police protection for the City of La Grange NOR supervising the police department of the City of La Grange". The Gaming Commission does not mandate or suggest the number of officers the city hires.

Only the MAYOR and City Council determines how many police officers are needed to protect the people of La Grange. Right now it cost half the income of the casino.

WHO ARE YOU GOING TO VOTE FOR? All the people running for council are out to get you and make you PAY.

The LAPD wants take this moment to thank the La Grange Lions Club for all the new targets. They couldn't get them all but, they did the best that they could.

As usual, the Guys put on a good meal. The carp was great and it looked like every one there was eating it all. It is too bad that more POLITICIANS from the town do not support the Lions Club.
